The busiest month on one page
December fills up fast: school concerts, class parties, work events, travel and the last day of term. Printing the month on one sheet with a big box for every day makes it easier to see where the free evenings actually are.
December 2026 at a glance
- December 1 is a Tuesday, and the month runs over five weeks.
- Christmas Eve is Thursday the 24th and Christmas Day is Friday the 25th, which makes a long weekend for many families.
- New Year's Eve is Thursday the 31st.
- Many US schools finish around Friday, December 18, and in the UK the Boxing Day bank holiday moves to Monday the 28th because the 26th is a Saturday.
Fun ways to use it
- Turn it into an advent countdown: children colour one square each evening up to the 25th.
- Plan a kindness calendar with one small good deed written into each day.
- Use the notes lines for a gift list, a baking schedule or who's hosting which dinner.
Hanukkah isn't filled in automatically because its dates follow the Hebrew calendar, so write the eight nights in by hand. Prefer a quieter design? Switch the theme to Winter or Plain. Then grab the January 2027 page so you're ready for the new year.
