Fall at its busiest
October fills up with pumpkin patches, fall festivals, school photos, parent-teacher conferences and Halloween parties. A printed month makes it easier to share the planning between everyone in the house.
October 2027 dates
- October 1 is a Friday.
- Columbus Day: Monday, October 11, a federal holiday (many places also mark Indigenous Peoples' Day on the same date)
- Halloween: Sunday, October 31
With Halloween on a Sunday, trick-or-treating is on a weekend, but school parades and parties will probably move to Friday the 29th. Check with your school and write it in.
This preset uses a Monday start, which fits October into five rows. With a Sunday start, the month needs six rows because the 1st falls on a Friday and the 31st on a Sunday.
